NJI Launches National Workshop on Case Management for Judicial Staff, Reaffirms Commitment to Capacity Building

The National Judicial Institute (NJI) has commenced its National Workshop on Case Management for Court Staff and Other Judicial Staff, bringing together Court Registrars, Filing and Process Officers, Commissioners for Oaths, Court Clerks, Bailiffs, and other judicial support personnel for capacity building aimed at strengthening case management and enhancing the efficiency of court administration.

 

The workshop was declared open by the Administrator of the National Judicial Institute, Hon. Justice Babatunde Adejumo, OFR, who delivered the opening address on behalf of the Chief Justice of Nigeria and Chairman of the NJI Board of Governors, Hon. Justice K.M.O. Kekere Ekun, GCON, FNJI.

 

In his address, Hon. Justice Adejumo emphasised that the effectiveness of the judiciary extends beyond the delivery of judgments, noting that the quality and efficiency of justice administration are equally dependent on the professionalism, diligence, and competence of judicial support personnel.

 

He observed that every administrative process, from case filing and record management to the service of court processes, contributes significantly to the credibility and integrity of the justice system.
